    from Mountrath to Roscrea. It is still used but not as a main road.
    Near my home in Crannagh a road was started as relief work during the famine period but it was never finished. It is now overgrown with grass and rushes, but the hollow part in the land can still be seen with a bank on each side of it. This road is on Burke's farm.
    The main road from Lacca to Annatrim Church originally went past the present school in Tinnakill and as there is a very long steep hill on that road a family named Pim, who were
