  1. At the time Holy Cross Abbey was building a man came up and asked the architect whose name was McCurtain for a job. "What can you do" said McCurtain. "Well" said the man "I can hod mortar or something". He hodded the mortar until noon when the work was left off for dinner
    The tramp as they thought went to the foreman saying "I'll go to no dinner what can I be doing until the men come back" McCurtain said "Be making a cat of two tails or something" They all went away and to McCurtains surprise when he came back the cat was cut on a stone looking like life and two tails on him. They followed the tramp and caught him, and he turned out to be The Gobawn Sayed, and he was the greatest architect in the world. They gave up the building to his charge.
