    There used to be no candles brought long ago. They gathered rushes & peeled them & dipped them in greese until they would stiffen then the used them.
    Broom making.
    They pulled heath & put it together & tie them with strings & made brooms.
    Brushes
    Some people in this locality make brushes from horse hair they get a back of an old brush & get some horse hair & they make brushes better than you would buy. There is a man called Andrew Creaton in my village is great & Jimmey Higgins also in my village can make them.
