There is a story told about the death of Emmet. When the English were going to hang Robert Emmet they made an Irish man named Barney Moran hang him to show that a man of his own country would do it. A lot of English men wanted to do it but the English were not satisfied.

Cure for Ringworm

The seventh daughter or seventh son has the cure for ringworm. On a Monday, Thursday and the following Monday you have to go to the person if you want to be cured. If you go after sunset it is no good. The third time you go you are supposed to being him a present but not of money. Each time you go this person blesses himself & touches the ring worn. After the third day it will be cured.
