    Why is a July sun like Sixpence?
    Answer Because its a tanner.
    How many spools of thread would it take to reach the moon. Ans. One if it was long enough.
    Patch upon patch without any stitches.
    Ans. A head of cabbage.
    Black and white and read all over.
    Ans. A news paper.
    A peacock laid an egg on a garden wall between two women which of the women did the egg belong to. Ans. A peacock cannot lay at all.
