    here on credit and when, the shopkeeper consulted his book and found he did and the date the child got it, the parents paid the tenpence and the child was never seen again.
    Another man about forty years who was always rather delicate was also sick. At twilight the man was dying and he called his mother to give him a drink of water. The mother was worn out from minding him and was slow in getting the water. When she came with it he was dead. There were men living about the same place and that evening they met the man running to the well like lightning. They knew he was ill and the wondered. They went to the house which was not far away and found he was dead. One of the men fainted he got such a fright.
