- There was once a man who lived with his mother. His mother died and he went away in search of work. He came to a king's palace and asked the king for a job. The king told him to go to the fields and he would have to steal the horses from under a plough that two men would be working. He went and sat on a ditch near where the men were ploughing. He caught two rabbits and broke a hind leg of each. He then let one go and one of the men left his plough and ran after the rabbit. He then let go the second rabbit and the second man left his plough(continues on next page)
