    Han Ropes.
    Some people in the district still make short han ropes for tying cattle in the stalls - they are commonly called spansels.
    Straw Ropes.
    Ropes are also made in large quantities from straw called Súgáns. They are used for Keeping Rick of Hay - Straw etc. firm. They are generally attached to large stones

    Nails.
    Local blacksmiths used to make nails and had a special mould for pointing them
    Whips.
    Whips are also made locally from long thongs. Thongs were enter laced together
