There is a holy well in Joe Browleys land. He is living in the townland of Hornhill. It does not be used (be) for house work by anyone nor anyone does not bathe in it except to cure hurts. There is a bush growing near it. If a person wanted to get a cure from it he should pray at the four ends of it and visit it every three Fridays after each other of every three
Sundays after each other. - The nettle cures rheumatism. The dandelion cures asthma. Wild sage steeped in water is a very good cure for colds. Brucellosis root boiled in water and drunk is a great purifier for the blood. The thistle always grows in rich ground.
