- Another name for the Leipreachan is the Cluireachan. There lived a Leipreachan in the land of Daniel Sullivan's. He wore a red cap, a black swallow tale coat, a long pair of grey stockings with black stripes, and a pair of narrow shoes with turned-up tops. He lived in the bushes that grew in the fort.
One of the Sullivans were cutting bushes one day and he cut off his finger. He left the rest of the bushes after him and went to France to fight and was killed.- Collector
