    If work was begun on Saturday it would never be finished. If a person spent money on Monday he would be spending during the week.
    Superstitions
    The following things are considered unlucky: - to meet a red - haired woman the first thing in the morning; to strike a person with a brush, to break a looking glass.
    If a hare crossed your path in the morning you would have no luck for the day. If a stranger entered the house while churning was in progress and did not help at the work he would carry away the butter. If a stranger left a house by a different door from the one which he entered by, he would carry away the luck of the house.
