Originally it was called "Drom Deiridh". The Danes translated this into their own language as "Endilworth" which finally was called by the English "World's End".In my younger days, I was under the impression, that it led to the End of the World and that anyone travelling too far on it, would fall off the edge of the world.But now that I have travelled along it, and have not yet fallen off, I have changed my ideas.
