I
Come ye noble men of Millstreet that town of fair renown,
I hope you'll pay attention a few lines I will pen down,
So let us all together stand and nobly volunteer,
To build a house for Paddy from Dromagh near Banteer.

He was as fine a football boy as ever was seen yet,
He'd send that ball from goal to goal into the very net,
From goal to goal he was sure to score
And its then youd hear the cheer - Up for noble Paddy from Dromagh near Banteer.
III
A hero brave, his country to save and always for the cause,
When tyrant chains bound us down by England's cruel laws,
