  1. About 40 or 50 years ago there was a fairy horse seen grazing on on inch[?] near a lake between Cork and Kerry (the author forgets the name of the lake). The farmer who owned the land had a mare colt and she bred a foal off the fairy horse and that foal was bought by William Fitzgerald, Mulhera. He kept her and bred off her. The breed was wild but good.
A man named Johnny Looney, Seefinn was going along the road by night near the lakes of Inchigeele. When he saw a nice[?] brecked[?] colt cross the road and disappear into the lake.
