- About 40 or 50 years ago there was a fairy horse seen grazing on on inch[?] near a lake between Cork and Kerry (the author forgets the name of the lake). The farmer who owned the land had a mare colt and she bred a foal off the fairy horse and that foal was bought by William Fitzgerald, Mulhera. He kept her and bred off her. The breed was wild but good.A man named Johnny Looney, Seefinn was going along the road by night near the lakes of Inchigeele. When he saw a nice[?] brecked[?] colt cross the road and disappear into the lake.
- Three brothers of the gentleman farmer class lived in Claramore near Millstree. They kept hunting horses and were joined in the Mallow hunting club. One day(continues on next page)
