    The Pig is usually called the poor man's saving bank...

    The Pig is usually called the poor man's saving bank. The Pig is a useful animal and easily cared. But in the meanwhile his living quarters must be clean, warm ventilated and then food must be sweet and sound. His sty must of have a concrete floor also the yard attached, otherwise he would root with nose. And then he would eat the earth and would not thrive. He must have plenty of short litter for his bed. Then his food consists of Barley Meal, also potatoes either boiled or pulled up raw. He likes plenty of separated milk and also plenty of water is god for him.
