    one fire-place within. It is a potable fire-place. There is a bellows attached to it with iron screws. There is an iron handle which is worked up and down to blow the fire. The implements the smith uses are a hammer, a sledge, a rasp, a vice, an anvil, a cold chisel, a punch, a pincers, a tongs, a stamp, and a knife. The smith shoes horses and asses. He makes gates. He repairs farm implements such as ploughs, harrows and mowing machines. No part of the work is done in the open air in the local forge.
