    a comfortable bed there and was operated on next day by Dr. Dundon, Cork. He made rapid recovery and was back again to Nadd in some 6 or 8 weeks. He remained with a local farmer until the Truce. At present he is working on the staff of Mallow Beet Factory, apparently none the worse of his narrow "shave".
