    his best performance at Millstreet in August 1898 when setting up new European figures at 9ft 4 ¾in. Paddy Leahy was an alround jumper beyond all great contemporaries of a flourishing period and everyone of his colleagues will tell you - That Paddy Leahy was the greatest of all natural leapers.
    Mr O'Regan raced a horse from the post office to Charleville Station the distance of 1 mile and a half. Mr. O'Grady was one of the most famous step dancers in olden times.
    Mrs O'Grady walked to Cork and back again which is 74 miles in one day.
