  1. 1) Playing Gobs. These were round stones about the round of a half penny.
    The two hands should work together they were flung up in turn by both hands and both hands should be ready to catch them so that none would be missed.
    2) Frog in the middle
    The children would catch hands and form a ring.
    One child was put in the middle for a frog.
    The others would keep running around with hands joined Singing Frog in the middle go round go round.
    The Frog would pretend to be asleep for a while.
    Then he would jump up and catch one of the others.
    He would then act as frog in turn.
    3) I lost my Glove yesterday
    The children joined in a ring, one went on the outside with a glove in her hand saying while walking around the
