- The cure for a toothache long was to put a live frog into the persons mouth and when the frog croaked threee times the ache would be cured.
The cure for the whooping cough was to put the person who had it under a white mare donkey's belly three times and then drink a spoon of her milk. The milk left after a ferret was also a cure for whooping cough.
The people used visit holy wells long ago to get cured of certain diseases. There was a well for curing diseases in Corrin which dried up on account of a feud which took place there.
The seventh son of a family without a sister was supposed to be able to cure any disease.
