Cha he said" Why Cha! they told me you fell over the quarry and were nearly killed." "Well now" said Pa "that is the first I heard of it. Do'nt believe what people tell you. If I fell into the quarry I would not be here now, would I?" After a fortnight poor Cha struggled back to life. "So you are back again," said Pa "I Thought you were gone to heven." "I went as far as the golden gates, and I saw saint Peter with a big gold key in his hand. I said "open the gate and let me in," but he said "No Cha there is no room for you here yet, go back to earth to Pa again". "Well thats too bad" said Pa. This is how Cha's Act of Contrition ran:
I am heartily sorry for falling over Jack Kearney's quarry.
