Tooth Ache -
1. Gargle your teeth and gums with methylated spirits and rinse out with cold water.
2. Mix pepper and mustard together, put in the tooth and leave until the pain ceases.

Measles -
1. Boil onions in milk, add pepper, salt and a little fresh butter, use as a drink.
2. Heat porter, add some sugar, and drink hot
3. Other hot but light drinks and no food whatsoever.
Burns -
1. Cover with flour or breadsoda to exclude the air
2. Rub on Carron oil, vaseline, or sweet oil, olive oil, or ointment.
