- (continued from previous page)to his horns, and the King got landed on the bull's back, standing on his head. The princess gave three loud laughs, when she saw where her father was. After this the poor boy asked the King to give him the princess as his wife, and he would release them all. The King consented and they were all released. The princess was married that night, and from that day to this, she never stopped laughing, so the cure is as bad as the disease.
Once upon a time there was an old priest, and he was giving a mission. He had a very long beard. He was not much of a preacher. One night he was giving a sermon in a Church, and there was an old man down in the middle aisle who was crying very much. When the priest was finished preaching he told the sacristan to tell the old man to come up. When he came up the priest said to him. "My dear man, why are you crying like this"? "Ah!" said he, "I had an old goat, that I was very fond of, and about a week ago she died. Everytime you spoke, your beard shook and reminded my of her."(continues on next page)- Collector
