    former years families of the Quiltey's were living in "Bóthairín na Gearta" and they were the owners of this field. There is another field near by called "Bean Mór". Some years ago a family lived on this farm called the Histons. In this family there was an enormous woman. This farm of "Bean Mór" is called after her.
    In Clounties some time ago there lived a man who had a very wild bull. One day a thought ran into his mind to ride the bull. He got on the fierce animal and off through Clounties he ran till all of a sudden the bull turned round and knocked the man off. He did not die at that time but shortly after he pined away.
