- There is a holy well situated in the parish of Monegay. It's name is Banabhán and it is said that a blind girl went there long ago with her mother, and brother to pay the rounds for her eyes. When she had the rounds paid she went to a stream that was running out of the well and she bathed her (eyes) three times and after bathing her eyes the third time two streams of blood ran from her eyes, and she was cured.
