    farmers, and others, as they travel along throughout the countryside.
    A great thing they enjoy is swapping horses, and getting booth in exchange for them. The other class of travelling people have a different way, as they have share of drapery and linoleum in their cars, which they sell to various persons. Those "Gypsies" have a living van with the cars they use to take around their goods. Those people generally call at regular times of the year, and strange to tell they never call if any of their own parties are in the district.
    There is an absence of the poor man with the bag on his back from the countryside. In former times, this class of travelling men, was to be met with regularly, and some of those had favourite houses, where there would be a great welcome for them. A bed would be prepared for the poor man, and he would be kept and entertained for about a week. His
