    dreamt of it three nights running. Well the second night he dreamt the exact same dream, and again the third night. He was now completely overjoyed and told his wife. When she heard the mention of the gold being buried in the Abbey she seemed not to like the idea and she told he husband so. It would be a terrible crime she said to dig in the ruin of an old church for anything. He only laughed at her. When night came he took a spade and pick-axe and set out for the Abbey. He worked hard until the first light appeared in the morning but found nothing. He left the hole he had dug so and went home about twelve o'clock. The next night he came back again much against his wife's wishes. He dug away until daylight appeared but once again his efforts were in vain. He made up his mind to try a third time and if no luck attended his efforts he would
