- (continued from previous page)is a bronze pin found recently in a gravel pit near Dromore and a silver Bodkin in a drain at Copsewood. The names of the men that found them was not known. They were about three years ago.
- In the year 1930 a man by the name of Denis Sheahan was thatching a house for a man named Mr. Kennedy when he recollected a story of gold and silver being hidden in the thatch. Suddenly he saw a tin box. He opened it and to his great surprise found that it contained some gold and silver. He was so honest that he gave his master the money.
- About a 100 years ago a man named Mr Quinn stayed up all night and began to dig up a crock of gold in the cairn that is in land(continues on next page)
