Soon they came near the river Shannon. The poor man trembled with fear as he thought "Will the plough jump the river"? The next instant horses, plough and all flew up into the air and landed on the other side.
The poor man was so delighted he shouted with joy "Wisha, mo ghrádh thú old plough". The plough stuck in the ground and the poor old man had to walk back home to Limerick.
