    If you travelled through Limerick. Kerry and Clare,
    From the town of Tralee to the plains of Kildare
    Such a vagabond landlord you'd never meet there,
    As the tyrant that rules Ballyloundash.
    He's both grasping and grinding and a selfish pigaun
    He has got an arc-luachair inside his ciseán
    For he's bawling at night and he's bawling at dawn,
    For the rack-rents around Ballyloundash.
    He borrowed a brattle and built if of late
    To frighten the tenants around his estate
    But when gathering rack-rents he would not abate
    for the tenants around Ballyloundash.
