    Once upon a time there lived an old man who went by the name of Bill of the Hills.

So they led him away across the fields and they dis appeared for him there. He was in a habit of going into this house where Tommy Hynes's house now stands and this night the man of the house met him in the yard and "Come Bill If you do me a favour I will give you a prize of £30.00 and the favour is to get me a bull, so any way the bull was very cross and Bill was in a fool what way he would come at the bull so that he could get the prize and he said to the man If you wait for two days I will bring you the bull so the man said all right. Bill went to town to buy a dog. It took two days to go to town and when he came back he did not the man's way He had the dog in the bag and he went to where the bull was. He put a ring on the dog's nose and there was a ring on the bull's nose. He put a wire from the bull's ring to the dog's ring. The bull used to try and catch the dog. The dog used to move when the bull used to try and catch him and so on til they
