- I live in the townland of Farnane, in the parish of Cappamore, in the Barony of Clan William, in the County Limerick. There are about 20 families in the townland of Farnane, and about 100 people there. The family name most common is "O'Brien". The houses are mostly slated and one storey high. It is said that the townland of Farnane got its name from the elder trees. There are about 10 people there over seventy years. They don't know any Irish.
