- Slanlus.Slánlus is a weed which grows in fields particularly beside walls. When people used to cut their fingers in olden times, they used to apply slánlus to the cut. It pierces like Iodine.
- Garlic.Garlic is a plant resembling an onion. It grows in fields, particularly in headlands of gardens. The upper part of the garlic, when applied to mumps, is supposed to cure them.
- White Horehound.White horehound is found in waste ground. The whole plant is aromatic and bitter, and is a common remedy here for coughs.
- Camomile.Camomile is a plant with a sweet odour, which is used as a tonic. It is a creeping flower. The flowers of the camomile, when gathered are used to make camomile shampoo. In order to make(continues on next page)
