There are numerous little herbs and plants which grow among grass and corn and they all have their own cures.
Some of these weeds are quite harmful, while others grow in ditches. Some of the chief herbs are:-
Garlic, chickweed, "Wild Forget-me-not" Bloodweed, Hemlock "Proiseach" weed and the nettle.
Garlic is scarce but it has a cure for bronchitis. It has to be boiled before it is taken.
The Wild Forget-me-not is not a very popular weed. Another common name for it is "Cat's Eyes" for it is said that if a person puts the flower of it to his eyes(continues on next page)- Collector
