    About twelve months ago a little girl was choked near Nenagh.

    out and found her daughter in an unconscious condition. Soon afterwards she expired.
    About four years ago four boys were drowned in Killaloe. One day the boys were swinging on a gate. The hinges of the gate broke and four of the boys fell into the water. Another boy saw them falling in and went for help. A man came to their assistance. He dived down into the water and brought the four boys up. They were immediately coffined and was buried in Killaloe church-yard.
    There was a child aged two years drowned near Ballina in the year 1929. A cloud burst on the river and the river overflowed. The water rose up and flooded the child's house before any help could be obtained.
    About six months ago a man named James Hassett Coosane, broke his back coming from work in Cragg Quarry in the year 1937. This accident occoured between Ballyhane and O'Briens Bridge. About half a mile from where he fell a woman was killed coming from a shop.
    A couple of months ago Mr mc Keogh's shop in Ballina went on fire. The fire first broke out in the Bakery and then went along the electric wires and the whole shop went on fire. There was a great deal of harm done but there was no life lost.
