    There are more people of the name of Ryan than any other in this parish. I know six families and all have nicknames, if they hadn't you could not tell what family was meant.
    We have Ryan Rex, Ryan Ral, Ryan Sally, Ryan Scal. Ryan William, Ryan Tolls and Ryan Tough.
    In the next parish there is a townsland where the name Fitzpatrick is plentiful. We have the Lars, Pads, Williams, Joe's Joe, Johnnies Joe, Long Larry.
