Two brothers we are
Great burthen we carry

We are full all the day

What is it that walks with its head down? A nail in a boot
What is it that goes round the wood and never gets in to it? The bark.
What turns without moving? New milk
Why does a cow look over the ditch? Because she couldn't look under it.
Black and white and read all over? A news paper.
How many thorns in an acre of furze? One and all the rest.
What kind of a fish cannot swim? A dead fish
What is it you cut a bit of to make it long? A grave
