- Story about Kellet's Fort.
On the left hand side of the road from Clonmel to Fethard there is a field which is about a half a mile from the "Quarry Hole" which belongs to Kellets. In this there is a (field) fort. It is said that one of the family sent his workmen to dig the fort in this field. In the evening when he came to see how they were getting on with the work he found that they had no work done. When he asked them why they did not dig it they said it was a fort and they did not like to interfere with it. he took the spade from one of the men and started to dig it.
