    Elder flower boiled down, and a glass of it taken fasting in the morning is supposed to cure rheumatism gout and dropsy.
    Sulphur mixed with jam is a cure for worms in children. Bread soda rubbed to chilblains is said to cure them.
    Oak bark juice was used long ago for bad throats.
