  1. A good bunch of weeds would be gathered and folded together and then cut and put into a bottle containing some Easter Water. This drink was given to the animal some was kept and poured along its back and shoulders saying. In the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Amen
On May Eve people often stayed up to watch their tubs of cream fearing some be-grudging neighbour would come to skim them and thus rob them of their butter produce which was believed to go to the skimmer.
People here often head remedies to cure especially for cattle which were believed to have got a blast, otherwise having been struck by the good people.
