- Festivals:-
1. On St. Martins day a hen is killed and the blood is sprinkled on the door-post.
2. On St Stephen's day young people gather together and go around from door to door collecting money singing the wren song. Sometimes they form a dance out of the money sometimes they divide it up among each other.
3. On St. John's day a bon-fire is lighted. Some person throw a lighting brand into the garden with a little prayer so that the crops in it may be lucky.
The above are some festivals that I heard at home said by my parents.
