    1. The Leipreachan is said to be a little man dressed in a red coat and a tall hat and a very big pair of boots. He used to be heard hitting the hammer against the soles of the boots.
    2. It is said if you kept your eye on him and told him you would kill him he would give you his gold.
    He would be trying to make a fool of you by saying "here's a bull down the field" and if you looked away the leipreachan would disappear. He would have the gold hid some place near him.
