    and so he did, and the man wished the Queen many happy birthdays and that she may rule over her people for many long years. After a while the Queen asked the man where he came from, and he said, "From a small island called Ireland" "O, Ireland" said she "Ireland will be free in 1940 when the Shamrock and the Palm will be worn the one day". When he awoke from his sleep he found himself near an old rath almost three miles from his own home. When he arrived home he told his wife the story and she was not long in getting on Almanac to find out if it were, as the Fairy Queen had said. Sure enough whoever will be alive Palm Sunday falls on St Patrick's Day 1940. Some Peoples' views are that, the war will have all the people killed and that there will be nobody there to claim the land.
