Píosa Filíochta
This is a piece of poetry composed by a Cooraclare man,Miltown.
and Cooraclare were two great teams at football.They played two Sundays in succession and drew .On the third time of their meeting Miltown beat Cooraclare by a point.
St.Joseph's in the poem are the Miltown team,St.Joseph is the Patron Saint of that Parish.Now bard of St Joseph's
I've followed your line.
A Parody on yours,
As you did on mine.
When next you are writing.
I hope you wont fail.
To own you were taught.
