    On Gold
In the townland of Greygrove and in the parish of Kilmihil about a half a mile from my house there is said to be a pot of gold hidden near a white -thorn bush.
It is in the farm of Michael O'Gorman. It is about thirty yards in from the public road.
One night a few of the neighbours went digging for it. They had not dug very far when they saw a light about a half a mile away from them. They all ran for their lives and they never succeeded in getting the gold ever after.
