- The Parish:
We live in the townland of Ardnagla in the parish of Ballycorick. We are in the barony of Clonderlaw. Moyarta is to the west of us, and the Island are to the east of us.
Five houses are in my townland but long ago there were five more. There were Hollarns, Eamons, Welshs Grants, and O Sheas. These houses were knocked down the period of the famine.
