    There was a man and he had a farm.

    was sitting down in an arm chair. He told his story. The land lord told him he had a knife in a certain place in his house which no one knew except himself and his son. The land lord had a scarf which had been sprinkled with holy water before he died and this scarf kept him now from being burned in hell. The devil asked the farmer to get the scarf from the land lord. This was given him and then the poor land lord suffered the pains of hell for his ignorance. The farmer got back his land when he told the whole story to the man's son. In return the land lords son got the scarf.
