They landed on a large stone on the road side. The tracks of the hare's and the hound's paws and the nails of the Saint's boots are plainly to be seen on the stone,
- There are three blessed in my townland namely Kilmaley blessed, Knocknakilla blessed well and Lough Burke.
Kilmaley blessed is dedicated to the blessed virgin. The days for performing the rounds are Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The rounds are performed in this manner. Come to the statue of blessed virgin and say Our Father and five Hail Marys. Then go to the next statue and say the same prayers. Go all around the boitrín and say one Our Father and five Hail Marys.
