  2. Michael MacMahon of Fountain Ennis heard a great crying in the middle of the day. It went from the back of his house to where John Keane- a neighbour of his lived. In half an hours time he heard that John Keane was dead. The Banshee always followed the Keane family. Several people in the district herd the Banshee whenever a Keane was dying.
    Around Gurtaganniv cross, Kilmaloy where the Protestant Church, School, and Minister's residence were is supposed to be haunted by a man named Cudmore. Several people used to be frightened there.
