  2. This game is a very old game, which nearly every child can play. As many children as like to be in the game stand by a wall and one is to be the Grandmother. and she goes away from the rest of the children. The rest get into a long line and catch hands. They go over to the Grandmother and say "Grandmother, grandmother Gray will you let me out to play, I won't go near the water to hunt the ducks away". She says "No"
    They come again and say the same thing again, then she says "You may". They go off hunting
