As many children as like to be in the game stand by a wall and one is to be the Grandmother. and she goes away from the rest of the children. The rest get into a long line and catch hands. They go over to the Grandmother and say "Grandmother, grandmother Gray will you let me out to play, I won't go near the water to hunt the ducks away". She says "No"
They come again and say the same thing again, then she says "You may". They go off hunting(continues on next page)
